Leadership Development

Kalispell Regional Medical Center recognizes leadership personnel as key players in ensuring our patient safety, employee satisfaction and positive community relations. Roles of managers and supervisors go beyond hiring, evaluating and training; they are challenged to motivate their employees to achieve their greatest potential.  Programs for new managers and supervisors facilitate promotion into leadership roles from among our front-line staff and provide them with the training and support to be successful.  Leadership development services include a competency-based orientation, mentorship program, monthly training classes on topics such as workplace drug & alcohol testing, budget planning, and human resource issues, a reference library of audio/video tapes, books, journals, and computer resources, and workshops from the "Essential Skills of Leadership" series, offered in collaboration with Flathead Valley Community College.
